University for Security Sciences Hosts a Workshop titled «Applications
of Computer Vision in Environmental Protection»

Muscat, Sultanate of Oman On Tuesday, November 28, 2023, NAUSS held a workshop
in the Omani capital, Muscat, titled «Applications
68 of Computer Vision in Environmental Protection:
Addressing the Impacts of Climate Change and Disaster
Prevention”. The workshop is part of NAUSS’s strategic
partnership with the Islamic World Educational,
Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) and
Sultan Qaboos University. It brought together experts
from Arab countries, international organizations,
universities, and relevant entities.

In his opening remarks via video call at the workshop,
Mr. Khalid Al-Harfash, NAUSS Vice-President for External
Relations, elaborated that NAUSS, as the scientific body
of the Arab Interior Ministers Council and a member
of the Council of Arab Ministers Responsible for the
Environment, is entrusted with the implementation of
